[荷蘭] Easter Dinner at Goody’s Steakhouse

During the Easter Holiday, Mr. J and us went to Goody’s, which is located at the centre of our town, for dinner. I never know Goody’s is a steakhouse, it’s a little bit smaller than we imagined, every single shop or restaurant here is unbelievably deep beneath its narrow front door. We’ve ordered entrecote, lamb, cheeseburger and some bread. I’d taken a 200g entrecote instead of a 150g or a 250g. Actually, I don’t really know how much does 200g weigh particularly, but I think that picking the one at the middle is always the safest option. Personally, I thought the entrecote is good (better than the one I had at The Bistro in Antwerpen, definitely!).

There’s an open kitchen, and part of the restaurant is smokey. We were lucky sitting quite far away from the kitchen, and the atmosphere is quite comfort and cosy. I had a Black and White Blanche and Mr. J had picked a chocolate cake afterwards. Black and White Blanche is vanilla ice-cream, chocolate on top, and with the flaming wine on it. I was a bit nervous as the waitress left the wonderful flaming dessert and a small plate of flaming wine with me alone. I wondered how to put out the “fire”, and I tried to blow it off, and yes, it went off (surprisingly easily) when I blown over it. Silly me, thanks god.
