Free from high-saturation contrast, this colorway relies entirely on muted tones that interweave to capture an airy, soft sea breeze. After much consideration, I’ve finally found my ideal color palette: 156 Camille on the Beach.
In the summer of 1870, Monet captured the fleeting second of sea air lifting a skirt along the shores of Trouville. This is not a bold set of shades, but a gentle memory bleached by salt air and warm sunlight. To bring this depth to life, we blended fine wool with a delicate, textured bouclé yarn.
This multi-tonal yarn carries a rich condensed-milk and cream hue, exuding an effortless sense of calm. Worked on its own using approximately 4.0 mm needles, each cone weighs around 285 g (including core)—meaning roughly two cones are enough to craft an elegant, airy sweater.
