Post-Wash Characteristics: Post-Wash Characteristics – Like many cone yarns, the true gauge, softness, and bloom (fluffing) develop significantly after the first wash as residual spinning lubricants are washed away. Colorfastness & Floating Color: High-saturation or deeply dyed shades may release a mild excess of dye (floating color) during the very first wash. This is completely normal and will not affect the richness of the shade. If you are working on a multi-color project, we kindly recommend test-washing a swatch first to ensure optimal results.
