第一次到 Shoreditch 是那年剛來英國，TS 過來找我；我們倆個誤打誤撞地在 Liverpool 站往 Brick Lane 前進，亂逛亂跑就到了 Shoreditch。Shoreditch 擺脫了過往舊工廠區的背景，換上了時尚新據點的稱號。我覺得這裡沒有誇張的擠迫，也沒有亂擺亂賣的裝備，帶點冷清孤獨反而更高傲。
說到超大強的 Shoreditch Area，當然少不了超有氣派的新式酒店 Ace Hotel (www.acehotel.com/london) 吧，在 New York 響負盛名地是個最強大的 hipster territory！那裡的裝潢陳設也是我的理想室內佈置，簡約的同時加入時尚色調，不會覺得沉悶 boring 又有著懷舊傢俱的配置。
Hoi Polloi (http://hoi-polloi.co.uk/) 是個 locate 在 modern brasserie，報紙樣式 menu 已經絕對吸引了我這個對字型和排列的特別鍾情的人的所有注意。連接著 That Flower Shop by Hattie Fox (http://www.thatflowershop.co.uk/) 更是讓人感到悠然自在的環境吧！由 Universal Design Studio 主理，以一貫 Swedish architecture 式風格打造的小餐廳絕對是吃個早餐或是庸懶下午茶的好選擇。
