香港中環的精緻西班牙餐廳:Fofo by el Willy

西班牙菜的好處就是 tapas 小碟小碟的,每樣可以吃一點吃一點。雖然在巴塞羅拿(相關舊文)流連過很小的幾天,可是一直都對西班牙的事物都沒有很了解;這次同桌的 Adrian 跟 King 是無敵的旅遊大使-我才剛剛知道遊 Barcelona 除了可以在市內看那幾個 Gaudí 建築以外還可以在單車小店租借自行車順便拿一份 Gaudí 路條圖暢遊更多在中心以外的 Gaudí masterpieces-。他們除了介紹當地風土人情以外更遂碟 tapas 慢慢講解,他們兩個見識令人非常 impressive 啊。

Adrain 給我們叫了很多很特色的 tapas,據說同樣是 Fofo 做得最好的菜:Ham Tomato Toast, Garlic & Chilli Prawn, Fried Croquettes of Iberico Ham, Crispy Suckling Pig, Seafood Paella-今天學懂了用來煮 Paella 的絕不是普通米飯而是短少的 bomba rice-,當中還有一個超好吃的蕃茄薯仔,不過我不太清楚那道菜式的名字。而甜點分別是:Churros (Spanish Crispy Fried Doughs with Warm Chocolate),像 crème brûlée 一樣的 Catalan cream 以及 chocolate cake。還得一提的是這裡的服務非常好,而且待應生對自己的菜式和西班牙菜的認知非常充足。

這頓飯絕對是超讚的!經這一役,Fofo by el Willy 已經成為了其中一所我最喜歡的餐廳。Thanks Adrian & Nicole 的選址與安排,thank you Loewe :)


I like tapas because their portions are usually small, which means that I can try out different dishes without being filled too early and easily.

This afternoon I have learnt a lot from Adrian & King, our fab tour guides and food guides of Spain. Next time, I am going to rent a bike to visit all Gaudi’s masterpieces.

This time we’ve tried Ham Tomato Toast, Garlic & Chilli Prawn, Fried Croquettes of Iberico Ham, Crispy Suckling Pig, Seafood Paella – I just learnt that the rice used in preparing paella is called ‘bomba rice’. There was also a dishes with tomato and potato, which I forgot what it is called. And, of course, Churros (Spanish Crispy Fried Doughs with warm chocolate), Catalan Cream (a dessert similar to creme brulee) & the chocolate cake. And, the services here is very good, and the waiters’ knowledge of their dishes are impressive too.

This is a really awesome Spanish restaurant in town. Thanks Adrian & Nicole, thank you Loewe.
